Dear Emily

We read the big book 'Dear Greenpeace' by Simon James.  In the story Emily believes a whale lives in her pond so she writes letters to Greenpeace.  After reading the story, we found out lots of information about whales and wrote letters to Emily to share our knowledge.

We hope you enjoy reading some of our letters.

Dear Emily

If you want facts about whales I will give you some.

Did you know that a blue whale is equal to the weight of 25 elephants? Did you know that a group of whales is called a pod? Did you know that a baby whale is called a calf? Did you know that a whale can hold its breath for 90 minutes and that blue whales live in cold water?

I hope you find these facts interesting. Sorry about Arthur going back to the sea.

From Luke
