Super 15 Trophy

We were very lucky today because Mrs Baguley brought the Super 15 Rugby trophy to school and we all got a chance to touch it.  It has three colours on it - black for New Zealand, green for South Africa and yellow for Australia.  The boys certainly look like they know how to pose for a rugby photo!

Home Learning

Sarah has created a menu for her Home Learning this week which sounds rather delicious -

'A tall stack of chocolate chip pancakes with chocolate syrup and biscuits and berries decorated with jellybeans and strawberry ice cream with a lemonade drink.'

Emma has also created a yummy breakfast, with lots of choices!

Fantastic Mr Fox Art

We read the story 'Fantastic Mr Fox' by Roald Dahl and we did some fantastic paintings of Mr Fox.  Brooklyn and Lauren used Pic Collage to share some of our paintings.  You can see all our paintings in our individual learning blogs.

Speech Finals

Congratulations to Lauren and Breanna for making it to the Year 3 School Speech Finals.  Breanna came third overall.  Well done to both of you.  If you want to hear their speeches have a look at their blogs.

New Classroom Blessing

This morning we had the blessing for our new and refurbished classrooms.  Hone, our Kaumatua came and did the blessing and the Kapahaka group sang a song.  We were lucky because we got to walk through the new rooms as we are moving into the new classroom.  This is us in our new room.
